This two-term course will build real confidence on camera, master the difference between acting for stage and screen, and provide young performers with the tools they need to approach scripts like professionals. Students work with fresh scenes from real TV shows and films and finish the course with showreel scenes to share with agents and casting directors (and your family and friends of course!).

Why Screen Acting?
Screen acting requires a different skillset to stage acting or musical theatre. Students learn how to adjust their performance for the camera, use subtle expression, listen actively, and bring truth to their scenes. It is an excellent complement for students who already enjoy theatre or musical theatre and want to explore opportunities in film and television.

• Showreel Screening: Invite family and friends to an in-house ‘premiere’ of your scene at the end of the semester.
