Students rehearse with professional creatives to learn upbeat songs, choreography and hilarious scenes, then bring it all to the big stage in a full-scale production with sets, props, exciting costumes, and a live audience!

This is a unique opportunity for young performers to collaborate, develop their performance skills in a fast-paced rehearsal environment, and spend the school holidays fully immersed in creativity alongside like-minded peers.

About the Show

Based on DreamWorks’ hit animated film Madagascar, this musical adventure is packed with lively songs, colourful characters, and plenty of laughs.

The show brings to life the beloved story of Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Melman the Giraffe, and Gloria the Hippo as they escape New York’s Central Park Zoo.

The four friends embark on an unforgettable journey in Madagascar, where they encounter mischievous penguins, the eccentric King Julien and his lemurs - learning to "smile and wave", and “Move It, Move It!"
