Stage School Australia is proud to present a brand-new adaptation of Alice in Wonderland, inspired by the beloved novels Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass by Lewis Carroll.
We are looking for a cast of passionate young performers in Brisbane, aged 10 - 20 years to bring Wonderland to life!

Production Details
We’re so excited to be bringing this beloved classic to locations across Brisbane City and the Moreton Bay Region.
Stage School Australia has partnered with Brisbane City Council and Moreton Bay Council to bring “literature to life” as part of their school holiday programs. This is an incredible opportunity for developing performers to share their passion, creativity and storytelling skills with young audiences.
As part of this unique roaming performance experience, you’ll gain insight into the behind-the-scenes process of touring, including bumping theatre in and out of different locations. You’ll build your improvisation skills, learn to adapt to new spaces and staging, and gain hands-on experience with technical elements of performance.
Designed for strong performers, this production is perfect for those with a keen interest in all aspects of creating a magical touring show!
About the Show
This original production is a whimsical and imaginative journey down the rabbit hole and beyond, inspired by the beloved novels Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass by Lewis Carroll. It follows Alice as she tumbles into a curious world where logic is turned upside down and anything is possible.
Bursting with quirky characters, playful language and surreal storytelling, the production brings together iconic moments and figures - from peculiar tea parties and mischievous cats to curious queens and talking flowers. Along the way, Alice navigates a world that challenges her sense of identity, encouraging her to grow in confidence and curiosity.
Both humorous and thought-provoking, Alice in Wonderland celebrates imagination, individuality and the joy of seeing the world from a different perspective. It is a playful, visually rich theatrical experience that invites audiences to step into the unexpected and embrace the wonderfully strange.

Performance Period: 7 - 11 July
Tour Information: This production will be touring to local libraries across Brisbane and the Moreton Bay region, including Garden City Library, New Farm Park Library, Everton Park Library and more.
