Last July, some of Melbourne’s “future stars” brought the beloved story of Mary Poppins to the stage - and Channel 9 News caught wind!

Each year, Stage School Australia produces full-scale musical theatre productions in Melbourne and Brisbane, designed to mirror the pace, professionalism, and excitement of the industry. These experiences give young performers the chance to develop their craft in a fast-paced, semi-professional environment.

As Aussie Theatre notes, “Stage School’s productions have long doubled as confidence incubators. Parents often report that shy children emerge from rehearsal periods standing taller and speaking louder.”

For Alyssa, who played Mary Poppins, that transformation is personal:
