What is the skill level required to participate?
Suitable for beginners all the way to advanced performers.
Classes will be split by age groups.
Perfect for students looking to refine their skills and learn new techniques in a fun and supportive environment.
Who will be teaching this workshop?
Workshops will be led by a combination of Stage School senior drama teachers and industry special guest artists. Our tutors have professional experience in casting and acting for film, TV and stage.
During the April Workshops, students worked with many Screen Acting pros, including Kestie Morassi (Wolf Creek, Black Snow).
Is the Screen Acting Workshop content the same across the different locations?
Yes — the Screen Acting Workshop follows a structured curriculum and will be consistent across all locations. Some activities may vary slightly depending on the teacher leading each session.
Do you need to be a Stage School student to participate?
Nope - we’re open to all young performers!
Current Stage School students are highly encouraged to participate, as workshop content differs from our regular weekly classes and offers the chance to work on new scripts with different people.
Will there be breaks & should we pack food?
Yes - students will have multiple short breaks throughout the day, including a 30-minute lunch break. Please ensure students bring enough food and water to keep them fuelled for a big day of Screen Acting!
