Camera & Screening Acting Short Courses

TCA’s Short Courses are a great way for young people to gain intensive, concentrated learning in Screen Acting techniques.  With personalised classes in groups of no more than 14, these weekly sessions provide specific instruction in particular areas of acting.  These classes are great for both Drama and Musical Theatre students to learn more of what it takes to succeed on the large and small screens!

These courses are open to everyone – you do not have to be a TCA member or Stage School Australia student to participate.

Sarah Alekna

Sarah is currently a Casting Director with Highway Casting who work with big brands like Kraft, Kmart, Ford and Nissan to name just a few.  Sarah’s longstanding involvement in the casting game is driven by her continued passion for what she does. While the benefit of experience and longevity have often illuminated the swings and round-a-bout nature of the industry, Sarah wouldn’t cast herself in any other role.  “To be constantly interacting with invested, passionate people who genuinely love what they do, whether actors or creatives may not be a youth elixir but it certainly serves to keep me inspired every day. I’m extremely lucky and for the record not actually bad at endurance either!”
