About The Show

Stage School Australia presented our first-ever Brisbane production during the September school holidays, 2024!

The season ran for a limited time at the Draney Theatre, Ashgrove.

Dorothy, Toto, and all their friends embarked on this enchanting adventure as they followed the Yellow Brick Road to the Emerald City. The Wizard of Oz featured beloved characters, stunning costumes, and unforgettable musical numbers, making it the perfect school holiday outing for the entire family.

The Wizard of Oz brought to life the iconic 1939 film and L. Frank Baum’s treasured novel with a fresh and dynamic production. Audiences were treated to cherished songs like “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” and “We’re Off to See the Wizard,” along with dazzling costumes that transported them to the magical Land of Oz.

This heartwarming story of friendship, courage, and the power of home was a highlight of the school holidays.
