About The Show

Premiere tour of the new adaptation of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland presented by the Victorian Youth Theatre.

In this new stage adaptation for young audiences, the Victorian Youth Theatre’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland brings Alice, the Mad Hatter, the Queen of Hearts and all of the crazy, Wonderland characters (plus a few new ones!) to life in a family-friendly 50 minute romp.

Peppered with jaunty songs from the old time Music Hall, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland will send audiences away with a smile on their face and a song in their heart.

Come along with the whole family during the September school holidays to enjoy this cast of talented young performers bring this new spin on a beloved tale to the stage for the first time!

Inspired by the books of Lewis Carroll, this show was created for the Victorian Youth Theatre by Melbourne writer and storyteller Dan Nixon, and directed by Tony Nikolakopoulos. With spectacular costumes created by designer Jennifer McKenzie, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland is sure to be a hit with the whole family.

The Victorian Youth Theatre’s most recent production of Babe: The Sheep-Pig was a sell-out success, so don’t wait to secure your tickets!!

Liam (Mad Hatter) takes us through what’s been happening on the first day and a half of rehearsals for this brand new adaptation of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland here at Stage School’s Brunswick Studios.
