2023 ABDA Demonstration: 'Icons'

Last Sunday, on the 22nd of October, the Australian Boys Dance Academy’s students wowed the audience at the Huntingtower Theatre with their remarkable performance, ‘Icons.’ The event was a testament to the year-long dedication and hard work they poured into perfecting their routines.

The ‘Icons’ show was a stunning journey through the world of dance, paying homage to iconic figures in the history of the art. Featuring songs by Elvis Presley, LMFAO, DMX, and Queen to name a few, the students showcased their versatility and passion, seamlessly transitioning between dance styles: Hip hop, Tap and Jazz.

The audience was captivated by the precision and energy of the performances. After the show, we were lucky enough to chat to some ABDA parents who praised the students’ dedication and hard work, recognising the potential of these budding young dancers.
