Musical Theatre Choreography – Explore storytelling through movement with routines inspired by Broadway and stage productions, combining acting, character, and dance.
Jazz Technique – Build strong technical foundations through exercises focusing on flexibility, turns, kicks, jumps, and strength - no routine.

What is the skill level required to participate?

Classes will be split by age groups.
Perfect for students looking to refine their skills and learn new techniques in a fun and supportive environment.
Who will be teaching this workshop?
Workshops will be led by a series of Stage School dance teachers and industry guest artists.
During the April Workshops, students worked with many industry guests including Courtney Monsma (Glinda in Wicked, Anna in Frozen, and Howard in SIX).
Is the Dance Workshop content the same across the different locations?
The dance styles and class structure will remain the same across all locations, however each class will be led by a different teacher. Choreography, class content, and routines will vary depending on the teacher for your session.
Do you need to be a Stage School student to participate?
Nope - we’re open to all young performers!
Current Stage School students are highly encouraged to participate, as workshop content differs from our regular weekly classes and offers the chance to learn new routines, styles, and techniques.
Will there be breaks & should we pack food?
Yes - students will have multiple short breaks throughout the day, including a 30-minute lunch break. Please ensure students bring enough food and water to keep them fuelled for a big day of dancing!
