Fees are calculated on an annual basis and vary depending on the programme chosen and the length of rehearsals. Annual fees for YABC begin at $1,460*. If you join at the mid year point fees are pro-rated to 55% (there are more weeks in Semester Two). All fees include weekly rehearsals, workshops and performance costumes. Payment plan options are available. * Junior level, 2020 fees, subject to change.
Classes commence late February, then follow the government school terms. Classes finish around the first week of December. Performances are held in June/July and late November/early December.
Entry level (training) groups perform at one performance during each season. Performing level groups perform on at least two occasions each season. Performances are ticketed and prices range from $38-$40 (+ booking fees, subject to change).
All YABC performers wear the YABC T-Shirt to rehearsals, along with black jazz shoes and black leggings or track pants. For performances, in addition to the YABC t-shirt and black jazz shoes, students will be required to supply black trousers/slacks. Additional uniform items are required as performers progress through the hierarchy. All students may opt to purchase a YABC hoodie which become compulsory at Performing level.

Costumes are provided by the YABC for all performances. Students may be required to supply basic items (black pants, blue jeans, etc.) depending on repertoire, and will be expected to supply all appropriate underwear and hosiery.
All YABC students require a pair of black jazz shoes. At performing group levels tap shoes are required. (Tan tap shoes for girls, black tap shoes for boys.) Girls in senior performing classes require a pair of tan character or chorus shoes.
