We provide a comprehensive costuming service for teachers and theatrical professionals to make costuming your production as easy as possible.  

How to order costumes

Step 1
Browse our online photo gallery for specific productions and/or themes.  We are always adding new costumes to our collection which may not yet be included in these galleries, so please call or email the Costume Dept to discuss your specific needs.  Contact us today (03) 8199 8345 or email  

Step 2
Make an appointment to come out and browse the collection and choose your costumes. We recommend that you bring the measurements of as many of the cast as possible to this meeting.  We usually work with the standard Australian sizing and the Standard Body Measurement Scale as it helps us to gauge costumes more efficiently.

Body Measurements:

Chest/ Bust, True Waist (smallest part of the waist), Lower Hip (Fullest part of the hip)

Australian Standard Sizing:
Mens (e.g. XXS, S, M ,L…)
Ladies (L6, L8, L10, L12…)
Kids (6, 8, 10, 12, 14…)

Step 3
Costume and accessories list is finalised, itemised and costed via email.  
Pickup and return dates are locked in.
Step 4
A final inventory list is made and you can come in and pack your show to go. Costumes can only be set 6 weeks prior to the performance.
Costumes will be ready up to two weeks prior to your performance (where available and by arrangement at time of booking).  Substitutions or sizing changes can usually be arranged if sufficient time is available.
Costumes must be picked up.  (A courier can be sent by the hiree to pick up, provided the hiree has already packed all of the costumes).

Costume Return
To help keep your rental costs down, we ask that all costumes are returned laundered (excluding specialty items, which will be specified at the time of rental).
Simply drop them off at our office or feel free to send back via courier.
