About The Costume Dept

Thousands of costumes, props and technical equipment at great rental prices

Stage School Australia has a proud 30 year performing arts history.

During this time we have developed a huge inventory of over 12,000 high quality costumes, props and sets for our own productions, which we are now making available to schools and theatre companies through THE COSTUME DEPT.

In addition to large sets of adult and child-sized costumes for specific productions (eg. Aladdin, The Little Mermaid, Seussical, Wizard of Oz) we also cover a comprehensive range of themes from animals, uniforms, period, historical and character costumes.  The Costume Dept has also invested in unique, bespoke costumes such as a car suitable for Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, the Talking Trees for Wizard of Oz, the Cheshire Cat for Alice In Wonderland and a range of mascots and fantastical animals to name just a few.

"Our middle school musical was an outstanding success, in no small way due to the stunning visuals of our cast costumes, hired from Stage School. The entire school community was excited by the colour and pizazz of all of our characters. Our production had such an impressive and professional look, made easy with Stage School. Sarah and Sean were lovely to work with and we will plan to use Stage School again for sure!"
